retreat into e-commerce. Thus, in full lockdown, online beauty sales increased 73% over
the previous year, over the same period. In France, online sales of beauty products represent more than 7% of the market. This is less than in the US and UK where e-commerce accounts for around 15% of sales. Between 2016 and 2017, internet sales of makeup products jumped 44%, 29% for beauty care and 22% for perfumes.58% of women say they have ordered cosmetics online.
